Background

I grew up in a small business family in Houston where I learned the joys and challenges of entrepreneurship from my parents. My heroes have always been people that create new enterprises through creativity, determination, and innovation.

Education

I earned a BA in Spanish at Texas A&M University with a minor in Business Administration and an MBA from Rice University with a concentration in Entrepreneurship.

Career

My professional career has taken me from the Department of Commerce and the Marine Corps, to AT&T and Edward Jones. My wife and I have proudly been small business owners for the last ten years.
